Responsibilities

The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a Portfolio Advisor at our office located in Dallas, TX.

In this role, you will be responsible for assigned Portfolio project planning and workflow, field integration operations, maintaining special projects and managing prioritization of portfolio initiatives. Responsible for researching and creating feasibility or requirements for new assets, integration opportunities, efficiencies, enhancements and recommending products to sunset. Responsible for preparing custom reports, including project briefs and business case for support documentation and ROI.

Here are some of the essential job duties:

  • Serves as the field operations lead for portfolio integration with development teams to ensure all markets are resourced as needed. Develops and retains knowledge base in assigned Mission Portfolio to understand and align portfolio management with customer and market needs.

  • Manages portfolio strategies specific to marketing, program and product priorities. Partners with sponsors, corporations, strategic alliances, volunteers or related funding organizations to build relationships, communicate status updates, and provide customer service.

  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert to facilitate Portfolio marketing expansion and enhancement across the enterprise while working with Marketing Communications, Digital and Content Syndication, Science, Advocacy, Quality & Systems Improvement, Community Health and Development, Mission Advancement and Corporate Relations and related departments to drive end-to-end customer solutions. Communicates agreements with new partners to Resource Planning, Product Development and Customer Marketing for assignment and support. Leverages knowledge of related projects and programs to benefit from existing assets across portfolios.

  • Researches and identifies desired metrics and outcomes. Develops evaluation surveys or collects data to share with appropriate stakeholders. Prepares product design briefs, case for support documentation and ROI reports.

  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with AHA staff, volunteers, sponsors and partners throughout the entire product planning process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Public Health, Life Science, related area or equivalent work experience

  • Five (5) years of project management, program and product development experience

  • Three (3) years of experience with product inventory, assessment and prioritization

  • Three (3) years of experience with market/consumer research, analytics and reporting

  • Experience collaborating with cross functional teams

  • Comprehensive business analysis and web analytics skills

Here are some of the preferred experience:

  • Public Health program and or product development experience
